Play to.... synology DS212j possible?

Hey!
after some disastrous results using bluetooth for wireless audio, i am wondering... is it possible to control my DS212j from iTunes on my macpro? Having usb speakers attached to the NAS obviously.

Would be nice to be able to hit the next key on the keyboard to hear the next track without using the synology interface.

I don't know about using itunes for it, but you might be able to do that with DSAudio on phone/iPad.

I'm not sure I have well understood your problem. If you want to control your music from your Mac, why do you need to plug speaker on the NAS ?

well its not a problem, its more of a would like to have. In this case not to have to have a plug connected to my laptop to play music to my speakers. I know you can push music to an airport express for example. just wanting a similar system for this NAS.

I'm using my DS212j with a Sonos system. Quite expensive but really worth it. Synology NAS can also be used as Squeezebox server.
