Play Video Content on IPhone through Ipad

Hi Guys,

Can someone please help me. I currently can play any videos on my ipad and iphone through the big screen with a special cable I bought from the apple store.

However I wanted to know if there is a way that I can play videos that are on my iphone through my ipad. Basically my ipad does not fit enough content for long trips and I am wanting to use the 64GB on my ipad to also store and watch content.

With the two devices connected on the same WiFi network, you can use the App Perfect Downloader to turn your iPhone into a Bonjour file server.

The caveats are that your videos will have to be copied into the app instead of your iPhone's built-in Video library (but the app CAN play videos); and that it works only with WiFi.

if your phone/ipad is jailbroken you can install a tweak called Airserver and it will turn your idevice into an airplay reciever, just like the ATV etc.
