Playback doesn't work (sometimes) after on tvOS 26.0.1

After update to tvOS 26 I realized I have issues with playback in every single app. It happens once in a while but it's super annoying and only restart works.
After waking up I see that there is a connection with WiFi because YouTube can reload home page same as any other app but none of them want to play videos. Do you have that problem too?

I have had a similar issue with ATV+ content where an episode will suddenly stop playing and exit out to the Home screen. I can go back in to the app and it hasn't marked my playback position so I have to FF to where it exited out. Seems like ATV+ is crashing for some reason. It only happens rarely - not even intermittently - but has only started happening since updating to tvOS26. This is on an ATV 4K Gen1, which has worked flawlessly for many years.

Not able to help, but adding a data point: Apple TV 4K (2nd generation) and haven't seen any of these kinds of issues with either tvOS 26 or 26.0.1.

Heavily used in this house, watching content from TV+, Disney+, BBC iPlayer, Paramount+, Netflix, Channel 4, itvx.

Hope the problems are easily resolved with an upcoming point release. But maybe something's corrupted and a reset is needed?

I tried regular restart for settings and unplugging Apple TV. Both don’t work. Usually everything works but something once a week or two I have to restart whole system. Don’t know why
