Playback issues in iTunes

Hi MacRumors,

I have a problem with the playback of my music, podcast, and video files in iTunes. Periodically the files stop in about a second before they'll continue to play. My MBP is about half a year old. Have tried to close those apps with the biggest usage of the CPU. Without success. Hope one of you out there have a solution.
