Anyone who hates AOL will find this amusing...they're being sued by Playboy of all people! :D
A US court has granted pornography and men's magazine publisher Playboy Entertainment the right to sue internet service provider AOL over copyright.

The decision enables Playboy to reopen a lawsuit launched in 1999.

The case hinges on whether AOL unit Netscape infringed copyright by using the words "playboy" and "playmate" as signposts within its search engine.
In the words of iGav...rinky dink link :)

Lawsuits have become a dime a dozen. Apparently Playboy wants to openup pornography on the internet.

i think this lawsuit is perfectly valid-- they used their trademarks to promote competitors. that's illegal. whether online or not, trademarks are protected, it's been that way for a long time.

wdlove, i don't understand your comment?

paulwhannel -- Apparently wdlove thinks this lawsuit is frivolous.

Such as 'lets see if we can win' instead of 'I think we really have a case.

I don't care who wins this suit.

They are both horrible money whorebags.
