Now, Hefner is up to something that has me scratching my head once again. He's slipping ten "Golden Tickets," a la Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, into this month's Playboy. Each ticket entitles the bearer and a guest to something called "The Midsummer Night's Dream Party" at the Playboy Mansion. This includes a hotel stay and round-trip transportation, although you'll probably end up spending the night so as not to miss the orgy.

The party and "Golden Tickets" represent a rare chance for the average schmo to go hang out inside the Mansion, the subject of billions of rumors, movies, news stories and STDs. Based on a 200,000 copy print run, your chances are 1 in 20,000 of getting in.

Hmmm. if I win I'll take.... my wife? :D

Reverse Widow's peak.

This gives a whole new spin on "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.";)

Hugh Hefner and the Porno Factory. Actually that idea might have some legs...... hahaha

The film would have to be set in the early-to-mid-80s when people still bought magazines to look at naked women.

I have had a script for 5 years now and will continue to renew it. I like the mag and I enjoy supporting something I consider an American Icon. I don't know why people are such haters towards it.

This is Roger Ebert's unexpectedly charming and very recent article on Hugh:

great article

Roger Ebert said:
Many of you will find my comments deplorable. You may believe Playboy was the enemy of women. It objectified their bodies. It schooled men to regard them as sex objects. It stood for all that feminists fought to correct. There is some truth to that, but it doesn't impact upon my experience, and the best I can do here is be truthful.

Nobody taught me to regard women as sex objects. I always did. Most men do. And truth to tell, most women regard men as sex objects. We regard many other aspects of another person, but sex is the elephant in the room. Evolution has hard-wired us that way. When we meet a new person, in some small recess of our minds we evaluate that person as a sex partner. We don't act on it, we don't dwell on it, but we do it. You know we do. And this process continues bravely until we are old and feeble.

Did Charlie not get given the Chocolate factory?

Yes, because, in the end, he was found truly worthy.

So, don't get up your hopes up unnecessarily. :p

I wonder what you would have to show at the Playboy Mansion?

That you are rich and/or famous otherwise you will end the night with a horrible case of blue****s:rolleyes:.

Though if I understand it correctly doesn't he have his class A, class B and class C "paid girlfriends" there. Class A being those for him only (to eventually be a trophy wife some rich, famous and/or powerful trophy husband), class B for VIP's and class C for any regular guest. In which case the place is really just the most exclusive cathouse in the world. I would then assume the class C or possibly even class B "paid girlfriends" would be instructed to accommodate gold ticket winners appropriately:D.

At the playboy mansion, I would be willing to settle for a "class D" girl. :D
