iPod touch Played Itunes movies will not clear from ipod touch

I have 1st generation touch and there are two movies that I rented from Itunes that do not show up on the videos screen but are showing in the drive space bar at the bottom of the Itunes page. The two movies show up for a split second on the video page when I open the video section of my touch. Then they disappear and the items appear that are presently on my ipod.
Any suggestions on a fix.
