Playhead thumbnail missing

In Tv OS11, did Apple remove the thumbnail over the play-head when watching content ?

This doesn't affect "Movies", "TV Shows" or purchases, only third party like Netflix or Hulu... so i'm wondering who controls this, Apple or Netflix adding it back in their app.
