playing a how to play a video on the WP home page instead of opening in a post link?

I have this page with a video and id like to not have it link/open a WP post page. I just want it to play on that home page. How would I do that?

Can I not just add some kind of _self meta? Or would I need to go find a lightbox plugin somewhere? I don't want a lightbox though.
