iOS Playing a video file in UIWebView

Hello,

I am having a UIWebView in my iPhone Application. I have some video embedded in the source of few web page. But when i am trying to load the web page, instead of playing that video, a broken play icon is visible in that area.

As per few research that i did it needs quicktime plugin to support video player embedded into UIWebView. How can i achieve this?

Any alternate way to play the video over UIWebView?

Help will be appreciated.

You should probably use HTML5's <video> tag.
