All of a sudden .wmv files that are in emails do not play for me. They have audio but no video.
I have been able to view them before...

Any ideas?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this question.

Generally, you need Flip4Mac to be able to play .wmv's on a Mac.

My version of Flip4Mac was just updated as it was out of date, so that might be happening to you and it's just not telling you?

Try updating it and see what happens.

Cheers.

I went to the Flip4Mac site and got the latest version.
My .wmv's still won't play.

Did they play in Quicktime before? If I remember correctly, there have been a few QT updates lately, I wonder if one of them broke it?

I usually only install the Flip4Mac stuff and the DIVX package of codecs, and that takes care of everything.

So maybe try downloading the DIVX package too. It's free from divx.com.

Good luck.

Cheers.
