Playing Audio through TV via 2 RCA male out..

Hi, trying to play audio out via Jack on mac to twin RCA male outs ,plugged into flat screen (to playing movie sound (and video via mini dv)

However im getting no sound on either TV Ext.. Cable boxing says ''suitable for mp3 to stereo'' but no mention of PC to TV being workable but guessing the cables are the same?

Anyone have any suggestions or stumbled on this b4 ?

Did you select the correct audio output in the Sound Preference Pane in System Preferences?

Yes I tried different options in preferences/sound/output...

You need to match the TV's input menu to match its video input.

Your right although i only get sound momentarily when i flick between EXT settings, so the cable works ! Need to find the instruction manual for the TV - thanks for the suggestion.
