iPod touch Playing from a single genres problem.

Hey guys, this is my first post in this forum. My problem is that yesterday when trying to play all the songs from one of my genres, Reggae to be more specific, i chose the genre, then i chose all albums, and then when im supposed to be asked for All Songs, i see that the ipod has chossen one the reggae albums already. It doesnt give the choise of selecting the All Song option. What can this be?

I just checked other genres and i notice that you can't play all the songs from one genre if they dont belong to an album.... how can i play all the songs from one genre without assigning each song to an album??

Make a playlist with all the songs from one genre.

yeah thats what i did, but thats a pain to have to do that instead of just playing all the song on a genre. My older ipod didnt do this, why the change?
