hello, i have a question with regard to games. i know that there are relatively less games developed in mac compared to windows thus the reason why i installed boot camp. knowing this, it makes me wonder, lets say for games that are both available for mac and windows, would it be better to play the game in windows using boot camp or in mac? which would give better performance, or are they just the same?

Bootcamp because games for OS X are ported which means they include a small app which makes it possible to run the Windows version in OS X. You get worse performance under OS X due that.

Valve is developing Steam for OS X and games that it'll release will be natively for OS X, so if you're going to play Valve games, then play under OS X

a 3D game will most of the time be better on windows because (at least for now) directX is superior to OpenGL.
