Playing HD videos (.mkv and .mov)?

I was just curious how well the 13" and 11" MBAs play .mkv and .mov HD videos?

I'd love if someone could break it down in terms of what your processor is, RAM, 11" or 13", and 1080p/720p.

The base model 11.6" MacBook Air will handle 1080p at native resolution without a sweat. It goes to say the 13" won't have an issue.
