Hi guys,

I've got an iPhone 4 mov file that I want to play. My friend took the video on his iPhone 4, put the video on his mac and sent it to me via dropbox. I've downloaded the video but can't play it on anything. I've tried quicktime, vlc (windows and mac), tried importing with iphoto and imovie, everything is saying that the file is in an unreadable format or something along those lines:mad:. Can't import into itunes either. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks :)

If VLC won't open it, there's something wrong with the file. You can try re-encoding with HandBrake and opening then. If that doesn't work, the pooch has been screwed:(

Hadn't heard of handbrake, thanks for the reply. Handbrake says "your source may be copy right protected, badly mastered or in a format which handbrake does not support."
