I regularly download video podcasts using iTunes & I usually watch them on my iPod Touch, which works fine. However, I find the iPod Touch screen a bit too restrictive for some podcasts and would prefer to watch them on my 19" computer screen for a change. I have tried playing the podcasts on my pc using iTunes/Quicktime, but get too much stuttering and sound blackouts to make this possible. They are in MPEG-4 video file format.

My question is, how do I play them on my pc? Is there anything I'm doing wrong in playing the MPEG-4 files on my pc in iTunes, anything I've missed? Which media player or whatever should I use to play them on my pc?
My pc runs on XP Pro SP3 and I'm using iTunes version 9.0.2.25, and Quicktime 7.6.5.

Any ideas anyone?

I appreciate any help/suggestions anyone can give. Thanks. :)
