Playing iTunes thru Keynote

Why can't I play any iTune files through Keynote? I had an iBook G4 on which I made a number of video presentations for Christmas with some songs I have in iTunes. When I purchased my MacBookPro and transferred everything over it all works except the music. I have tried reloading it again from iTunes to Keynote but no results. In fact when I bring up the iTunes window in Keynote and try to play a song before importing it the little speaker icon comes on like it's playing but there is no sound. When I go to iTunes by itself they all play OK. Any suggestions?????
