Playing media from the Xbox 360?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if I place any TV shows, movies on an USB drive and plug them into the Xbox 360 it will work? I have had a quick Google around and I am getting mixed answered to be honest.

Yea, .mov .wmv .mp4 play perfectly.

Any? Technically no. It has to be in one of the formats that the 360 supports, which is fortunately quite a bit.

Yes, you can do this, however you need to make sure the video stuff in the Xbox-compatible file formats.
