Playing music from time machine

Hi.

is the time machine ok to store music on? Iirc i came across a page suggesting that one can't backup and access music on time machine at the same time at all well. But I can't find that page now.

Time Machine just backs up what is already on your hard drive. I don't think there would be any way to use that to store & play your music from. Why don't you just keep your music in the iTunes music folder?
