playing music via bluetooth on car stereo

not sure if this is in the right section but i think there may be a jailbreak tweak!

is there an iphone tweak to play an ipod playlist via the car audio system on bluetooth that isn't "made for ipod/iphone"? the car bluetooth kit in question is a parrot ck3200!

to think of it if you can play a ringtone and obviously listen to the person you are making a call with via the car audio system then there must be a way to play an ipod playlist without changing the existing car handfree kit! (for example changing the existing parrot ck3200 for a parrot MKi9200 or similar)

bump because I have a parrot too, and I would like to do the same thing.
 
Block: have you had any luck finding an app that will allow this? I have been searching for one myself but haven't had any luck.

afraid not Big D - i was hoping the forum gurus would know of something or came across something similar that may work!

there has to be something/tweak/application that would allow you to play music via a handfree bluetooth devices that isn't made for ipod/iphone...perhaps i am overlooking something simple!! :confused:
 
I found something. Go to cydia and download Bluetooth Mono SBsettings. It plays music through my parrot. The only problem is the quality isn't so good.
 
I have looked around alot for you guys - this is not possible with your particular parrot model OP and I'm guessing yours also Big D, as far as I can tell.
The problem is that your car bluetooth doesn't support A2DP (The bluetooth profile needed to stream stereo content over bluetooth).

I'm not sure if that's something that could be fixed with a firmware update or not, possibly though because the iPhone was updated with A2DP support on 3.0.

Moved on and bought a new car with proper integrated bluetooth technology allowing to play music and phone calls and the likes, but no Carplay!

Thanks Csaliba appreciated, even being 6 years...!! :)
