Hello all, not sure which forum this should be in.

I want to play iTunes on my Macbook through my stereo speakers. Only problem is, I'm having difficulty finding the correct cable. My stereo system does not have RCA jacks, only one "Audio In" port.

Now, I know the Macbook has an audio out port. Do they make two male audio in/out cables for this? The guy at Hastings said he didn't know if they were made.

Is your stereo's audio in like a headphone jack? If it is, then yes there are lots of these cables around. Male-to-male mini stereo (1/8") plug cable is what you need.

Like so:

Does anyone have a link to the kind of cable I need? Please?

You will need to tell us what the audio in port on your stereo is first - we all know what the MacBook output is but the input on your stereo could be 1/4 inch or DIN plugs or anything ??
