I'm a pc user coming over, have my first mac. Macbook Pro 13.

Big user of Google Drive in our business, run 2 Drives and switch back and forth.

I'm having some difficulty just doing some basic stuff. I've got the Drive over on the left menu in my finder and as an example I have a mp4 in my downloads that I want to move over to a client file in Drive. I can't seem to Cut it and paste it over or even drag it to Drive and then move it. It says this isn't available with Drive Stream... The only way so far I've been able to do it is Copy it, then paste it, but them there are two copies and have to go back and delete the old one, etc..

I'm just looking for what I'm missing here or is that how it has to be done. Also, any Google Drive tips would be appreciated for those of you who use it.

Are you using Command & X for cut? Or use copy and then when you paste hold the option key to see the “Move items here menu”.

A bit odd coming from Windows but there are lots of nice features in Finder I have come to appreciate.
