Hi, I'm a newbie here and not sure if this is the right place to ask this- but is there an easy way to play Playstation 2 and 3 on the iMac 27" (The newest ones out now with the thunderbolt)? The PS2 has the red, white, yellow cable and the PS3 has hdmi, so I would need an adapter that goes from that to the thunderbolt?

I did read somewhere there is a hdmi to mini displayport adapter but it is not compatible with the newest iMacs. As for the PS2, probably because the console is old, I couldn't find much information on it.

If anyone can help (maybe links to apple store or amazon for the product) it would be great!! Thanks!

The 2011 imac currently can only accept video input from another device with Thunderbolt, so you can not connect PS2 or PS3 to the 2011 imac as a monitor.

You might want to look for older imac for what you need.

Correct, there are no such adapters that can be used with the thunderbolt port yet...
