When I have multiple episodes of a particular podcast, sometimes I would like to play them sequentially, oldest date first. I haven't been able to figure out how to play a sequence of episodes; all I can get my Touch to do is play an episode, then it stops. I have to manually select the next episode to play. My old 2G ipod will run through a full series of episodes without my intervention. Am I missing something?

Smart Playlists is one answer

Yeah, I did think of setting up Smart Playlists for each of the podcasts where I want to be able to listen to a series of podcast episodes in succession, and that does work. Still, it doesn't seem that I should have to go to even that much trouble to enable a function that I would think is a very common desire among users.
