anybody know how to play Sim City 4 in a window and not full screen mode.
I want the game to play in the background sometimes while I surf the web, but it defaults to taking over the screen and automatically goes into full screen mode when I start the game. I feel like I am using a pc...

please help!! haha

The Readme tells you how to do it. I believe holding option or command key at startup will cause a special options window to come up, allowing you to play in a window and even a custom resolution.

Not for me!

This is all I get when hitting command or option while booting the game:

Nothing about Windowed Mode, or anything else described in the ReadMe (including iTunes support).

Also, command-enter while playing doesn't break out of fullscreen like with other Cider games.

Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue. Holding command or option results in nothing...the game opens in full screen mode. I'd really like to be able to open this game in windowed mode. In full screen, I cannot access any other apps or do anything else with my Mac. I can't even minimize the game or switch over to other apps. Any help would be much appreciated!
