iPod Playing songs directly from Ipod

I have a computer at home that is the computer that is registered with my Ipod. At work I have an iMac. What I would like is to connect the ipod to my work iMac and play the songs directly from the ipod without copying the songs of the ipod or without having to register the ipod with the itunes on my iMac.

Is this possible?

I think Senuti can do this for you. Install it on the work machine and even though it's designed to rip the tunes back into iTunes, it still lets you play from the iPod via its own iTunes-mimicking interface.

beaten to it, thats what id suggest works really nicely though there are other apps out there.

1. Enable Disk Mode.

2. When you plug the iPod into the second computer, iTunes will warn you that this iPod is linked to another computer, would you like it to update to this computer? Say no.

3. Click on the iPod in the source list. Double click any song. If it's an iTunes Store purchased song, it will ask for your iTunes Store credentials, type them in.

4. ???

5. Profit!

You can safely ignore steps 4 and 5.
