playing videos from iphoto doesn't work with 10.6?

I used to be able to import videos from my camera or 3gs to iphoto, then i could double click on them and they would automatically play through quicktime. but since i've upgraded to 10.6 none of them work anymore, regardless if i took them with my camera or phone. has anyone else noticed this or know how a remedy?

I just checked mine, it works just fine since the upgrade....
