I have an iMac 17" G5 1.6 intel with 2 Gb of RAM. I can watch videos with no problem unless I try to watch one online such as Youtube or something like a video on Fox news. Then it gets real jerky and I miss much of it. I have a highspeed cable modem hookup through Cox Cable. I have tried switching between the airPort and direct ethernet hookup but is makes no difference. I don't have this problem with my MacBook Pro. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this??
Thanks

Sounds like its a problem with Flash. Not too long ago I installed the latest flash update, and after it all performance went to hell. Where before I was able to easily stream Vimeo's HD videos, now its crap performance even at YouTube's crappy quality...

Damn Adobe and their bloatware!

But yeah, it has nothing to do with either your modem or the router. Just a matter of crappy software.
