Playlist feature not working IP4 to ATV2!

I am using Ipod on the iPhone 4 to stream music videos from an iTunes Playlist directly to Apple TV, but find the the list terminates after each selection, and I have to manually select the next music video. In other words it does not play a playlist and needless to say the shuffle feature doesn't work either.

Can anyone throw any light on this?
