I have my iphone synced with my itunes library,
however there is a playlist that has only 14 of 46 music synced, I've tried deleting all music on iphone an re-sync but the problem still remains.
when the iphone is connected to the mac, on "on my iphone" it shows the playlist with all the music, it also plays, but when I check to see from the iphone, there are only 14 out of 46 songs.
I also tried restarting the iphone and the music that won't show on the playlist won't either show on "songs-search"
what else can I try?

p.s. the playlist is pretty long, 2,2 days of music and 2,8GB of stuff

If I create a playlist on my iPhone and sync with itunes the playlist doesnt save.

I had this same problem ... I just had to keep resyncing it until it got all of my songs.

what does it mean that the songs "on my iphone" are not-clickable(grey)???

I've had this problem, not necessarily with playlists but with my entire library. Only a certain amount of songs would sync to my phone and it would reach that point and end up just cancelling the rest of the sync. I had to go one by one in genres and sync and then albums, artists, etc. Very annoying. One particular song still won't sync for some reason.

what are you suggesting? is there a way I can force the playlist into the iphone?

1. I'm assuming you're not running out of space, right? That would impact what songs would fit, what would not etc.

2. For some reason I've been having issues with playlists that have "live updating" enabled. You might want to check that?

Playlists are a pet hate of mine - they never seem to transfer over correctly. When I create playlists on my phone and sync with iTunes, the playlists either disappear or songs are deleted. It's highly frustrating.

yes, plenty of free space
what is "Live updating"?

the problem is that not only the songs wont appear on the playlist, they are not in the songs folder if I do a manual search
