iPod touch Playlist problems: disappears when I sync

Whenever I create playlists on the go and then later sync with iTunes, it disappears. Before $20 upgrade, my playlist use to appear as (on the go 1) or (on the go 2) etc until I rename it. I have no idea why the on the go playlist no longer show up. It is frustrating to put so much work in selecting songs and rearranging them on the touch and there is no way to save them. Help on this this would be really appreciated.

I have the same problem, the first time it happened I spent about half an hour making the perfect playlist, synced it and it was gone! So annoying! I think the best solution is to simply create your playlists on iTunes instead, it's a lot easier that way anyway.
