How come whenever I make a playlist in my iPhone, it gets deleted when I sync it to iTunes?
 
Under the Music tab in iTunes, make sure you have all Entire Music Library selected. Otherwise, I believe it will remove any of the playlists not selected within iTunes in advance. That should be the culprit.
