I've had a catastrophic catastophe with one of the Graphics Firmware updates and partially bricked the 1GB 6970M in my iMac.
If you've got a 2011 iMac with a 6970M and Windows installed via Boot Camp I'd be very grateful if someone could help me!
In System Report select Graphics/Display. If you've got the following then you can help
Chipset Model: AMD Radeon HD 6970M
VRAM (Total): 1024MB
ROM Revision: 113-C2960H-203
EFI Driver Version: 01.00.560
It's critical that all these details match.
If so, then I'd be hugely indebted to someone who could boot into Windows on that machine, download GPU-Z (http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/), run it and beside 'BIOS Version' where it has the little black and green icon, click that and save to a file.
Have you got that far? If so reply and/or PM!
Many thanks
