Pleasant surprise: Apple shipped my free case 6-8 weeks early

Just got a confirmation email that my Griffin Reveal Etch has shipped today, it was meant to ship on Oct 4th.

Go figure.

Mine was scheduled to ship Aug 22, way earlier than your scheduled date but mine is only "prepared for shipment." Maybe they're shipping it by region and not in order...?

I'm from SoCal.
 
Apple is really fubaring this case thing. I ordered the exact same case:

Jul 23, 2010 at 08:11 AM PDT is my order receipt. No movement. Lame.

OMG, my scheduled delivery day is Oct 5, I hope they will ship mine early too like they did for you.
 
Mine isn't supposed to ship until another month. I hope it ships early, because I'm leaving back to college soon and can't have it shipped there being that I don't know my address yet. I don't want to have to have it shipped to me again once it arrives.

Screw the free cases

I gave up on waiting. I ordered 3 of them off eBay (from China) and they'll still probably get there faster than my Apple case will.
 
My griffen reveal etch case shipped from TN two days ago, the tracking number shows it to be in GA , should be in FL soon, cant wait

Thanks. July 24th 4:37PM CDT here and still isn't even prepared for shipment with a ship date of Aug 30th and delivery on Sept 2nd.

I am sorta in the same boat as you...I'm leaving for college (but I do know my address as this is my 4th year) on Sept 2nd and won't be at home to pick it up. Sadly, no one will be back at my house to ship it to me until the following Monday which means I wouldn't get it until the 9th or so.

And I'm really ticked because I know of a few people who ordered at least a full day after me and had theirs as early as last week and they live in the US.
 
I had a feeling all these crazy ship times were exaggerated purposely. Hopefully this might be an indicator that everyone will get theirs quite a bit earlier than their stated ship/receive dates.

My Incase Snap Case clear is prepared for shipment.

I ordered on July 23rd at 2:55pm est (im in FL). I received the email with tracking number that it shipped 2 days ago on Aug 2nd
 
I ordered a Griffin Reveal Etch on 7/23/10

It was originally supposed to deliver on 9/1/10, but it shipped Monday and I should have it any day now

You guys sure get excited over nothing, here in reality these cheap, mass produced cases aren't in short supply, a month to ship it? LOL, give me a break, I swear Apple just pretend it will take weeks so you get a false sense of excitement and blindly think "wow, Apple sure are great shipping it super fast".

Btw where I live post takes 1-2 days max.

Sorry to sound like a troll, but damn sometimes Apple fanboys really disgust me

When is yours supposed to ship? Mine's to ship Sept. 3, for delivery by the 13th. I guess no priority shipping for the freebies! I ordered on the 31st. of July.

I ordered one too. Wish I could have ordered the green or orange ones instead of black, but oh well I'll just go give Apple $60+ when they are available for purchase again lol.
