Please Assist!

Hello

I'm running 10.4.5 on my iMac 1.9. I just bought a .Mac account, and instead of using my old email address, which was set up for Mail, I'd prefer to use my .mac email address. So, using the preferences, I combined the two to both show up in my inbox. It was working fine until yesterday when I tried to open Mail, and the rainbow spinning thing just keeps going, and Mail never opens, so I have to force quit.

Does anyone know the solution to this problem, or a place where I can be directed to find the answer? It really sucks that Mail doesn't even open.

There is a thread there that says something about Mail not responding so you should read that through. If it doesn't help, you could make a new thread and ask your question or do a search.

Look for a file named com.apple.mail.plist and drag it to the Desktop whilst Mail is closed.
