Hello all,

I had my iPhone 4 replaced yesterday due it randomly turning off about 4 times a day.

The replacement came with 4.02 loaded on it. There's no JB options open to me are there?

It's nice to finally have a working phone but I'm really missing my LockInfo and Infinifolders. I think if Apple did their own versions I'd give up on the JB.

Yours Lamentfully,
Baldy

Thanks for confirming it for me...

I've noticed my battery life is better now though which surprised me - I had suspicions that it was worse with the JB and I din't really have that much JB installed.

No need to save shsh's now with 4.0.2. Go ahead and upgrade to 4.1. The jailbreak is imminent.

Since the OP has 4.0.2 now, is there any point in saving the SHSH's via Tiny Umbrella or should he just be content to go ahead and update to 4.1?

If the OP ever wants to unlock their phone then no they shouldn't update to 4.1. Read the Tinyumbrella instructions first on how to preserve your baseband

Sorry to hijack, but is it true that 4.1 supposedly fixes the slowness of ios4 on 3G iPhones? I'm getting one from a friend for 70 bucks in a few days.

sorry, out of luck, got to do the time..... At least you are factory unlocked :)
