It’s strange you don’t recognize that number. The trusted phone number is required as a backup method for two-factor authentication, and you would have needed to prove you have access to that number. Did a friend or family member help you set up 2FA, and used their number?

It’s also interesting that it’s asking for your trusted phone number right away, instead of asking to approve your log in from a trusted device. The trusted phone number is usually the last resort if you don’t have access to your trusted devices.

Are you signed into iCloud on any devices? Guessing probably not since it seems that you don’t have any trusted devices; but if you are, you should be able to manage trusted phone numbers there in iCloud security settings (Settings/System Preferences -> Apple ID -> Password & Security).

Otherwise, you may need to start the account recovery process to get that changed. https://support.apple.com/kb/HT204921

It either that my mother or me signed up to an Apple account using my fathers email (OR A HACKER) and created an account without permission, although I had no memory of doing this (and neither would I have any reason to do so since I have my own email) and got charged for Apple music for 7 months. If it was me, I most likely used a fake phone number as I do not have a phone myself so would use a fake phone number online. Whoever was behind this has meant we have had to pay 70 pounds for Apple music as I could not access the apple account to cancel it or even speak to Apple. Lesson learned; don't use temporary phone numbers online when making payments. I simply do not understand this because I have no memory of ever using my father's email so it well be could be my mum or a scammer/hacker. Also, the link you quoted does not work; they want me to know the phone number but I do not know it and Apple won't speak to my father either. He's getting emails from Apple which he cannot stop as he cannot sign in.

I believe the account was hacked, my father got an email to say an account name change; no one here did this so it can only mean it was hacked.
