hi guys

i am pc user and i want to buy a macbook pro the for my studies. the thing is that i am so confused:confused: about the 350gb 5200rpm ATM HDD and the 350gb 7200rpm HDD. which of them should i choose ? and is it worth to spend more on the 7200rpm? or should i upgrade the RAM ? the main use is for studying but i may use it for gaming and watch movies.
pls help!!!

I would go with the 5200, because I think drains more battery juice with the 7200, and also the speed isn't that much that much different. More ram can never hurt. But please upgrade it yourself, and don't spend the extra money on the overpriced Apple ram. How much ram were you planning on getting?

I'm a little confused with where you're getting the options from because they don't make 350GB HDDs nor do they make 5200RPM drives, only 5400RPM.

That said, I'd for the faster spindle if you can afford the extra cost since it will be a little faster. For gaming and watching movies, more RAM may be beneficial.

i meant
320GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm
OR
320GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm
