I just purchased this laptop a few weeks back so there is no info of mine on it yet... Upgraded the harddrive to a 500gb 7200 rpm, formatted it , installed a fresh copy of snow leopard and everything worked perfect so I then clicked on software update to get the newest snow leopard , it was a 1gb download , went though in a few minutes rebooted and got stuck at the spinning wheel ... Took it to a mac repair shop , he said it was a bad hard drive.
I purchased a new seagate momentous xt 500gb , just installed it , formatted it , installed os , everything working great prior to update ..went to update and same exact thing happened , still stuck on spinning wheel , it's been an hour

Any ideas before I have to pay this guy again
