Hi guys, I really hope someone can help.

Today I received a Apple Watch for Christmas. However I've been unable to get it fired up due to some unfortunate occurances.

I'm unable to use the email address associated with my Apple ID and my fiancé has tried the wrong password too many times on my iTunes which has led to my account being blocked until I can verify my identity. To top it off, I cannot answer the security questions because I simply cannot remember the answer or even setting the questions up.

That's all unfortunate and no one on the forum will be able to help me with that. So I've made a completely new Apple ID but my watch doesn't give me the option to change my Apple ID from the old one to my new one.

Does anyone have any idea how I would change the ID on my watch to my new one?

I appreciate this is quite a long winded dilema so any responses would be appreciated :)

Unpair the Watch, and then re-pair it, setting it up as a new Watch.

I've done that many times but it always automatically assumes I'm using my old ID. I don't have the option to change the email address associated with the Apple ID.

I recently had to change my Apple ID, and it was an effort. This included 90 minutes on the phone with an Apple ID specialist (not the first person I spoke with). I wish I could describe a "silver bullet" answer but from my experience there isn't one. The best I can off is to either make an appointment at the store, or call Apple Care associated with your phone - be sure to set aside lots of time.
