So,
I needed to use Disk genious 2 to repartition my boot drive.
so i burned the bootable dvd, and changed the boot device in the system prefrences to the new dvd.
THen i used the program and it did what i wanted.
THE PROBLEM:
now when i start my comp (PowerPC G5)
it boots to hte drive genious dvd even though its not in the computer and i hold down opt
and chose my HD as teh boot device
PLEASE HELP

go into system prefs>startup disk>Mac OS X 10.X.X on Macintosh HD

This is your hard disk. I'm very sure that this will fix the problem. if not, quote me back, i'll try to help again. Now, next time you boot from a cd, insert the cd, restart the computer, as the computer goes 'bahhhhhh' as it has JUST been started, hold the 'c' key to load from cd. that is always. good luck.
