The connector (the thingy that plugs into the computer) on our PowerBook G4/450's power adapter broke. After much Googling I still cannot find anywhere to just buy the connector. We really don't want to have to pay +$50 to replace the adapter, when all we really need is the connector.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Jason

Call Apple about it, explain what happened and what you need to replace. The opposite thing happened to my old iBook and they sent me the wrong part. So be clear on what you need. Also I would sugest a 3rd party power adapter. Just think, if this one broke the next one will proabably break also.

Check if this adapter works. http://store.l-f-l.com/prod/ACG4/51F3855281- Looks like the one I got for my older iBook (not dual USB though) $50 is the best price you will find. Also check out here http://www.macresq.com/store/detail.php?prodID=P009141 it's $10 more but looks cool (hehe) :D Well I hope I helped, tell me how it works out.
