Please help this is driving me crazy! I had a search page maleware program I discovered and deleted it. It kept on redirecting me to a fake Yahoo search page when I went on Google, now that I deleted it I can not connect to any website even though my wifi is connected. My other devices work and connect fine to the wifi.

I have a Macbook 13’ Mid 2012, running Siera High. I tried Chrom, and Safari and it get’s “can’t connect to server.” I have run a Maleware pass from a Malewarebytes app. I had on the machine and nothing was detected. i then deleted the app. from what I read it may block my internet access but still it did not work. Please help!

You can also delete your network configuration prefs, and re-do those by setting up your Mac's network connection.
Go to /Library/Preferences, then the SystemConfiguration folder.
Delete the file "NetworkInterfaces.plist"
Restart your Mac.
Open your Network pref pan, and choose your own network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet). Add your favorite DNS servers, I suppose - but you don't need that to test your new internet connection.
