Hey guys, so i have a a 1TB Time Capsule that has my old macbooks entire volume on it backed up. Now that i have my new mac, im trying to get access to that file and when i try to connect it tries to connect forever, and finally says connection failed. I dont want to neccessarily import everything, i just want to be able to see what is on that drive. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure the TC is working?
Do you use it as a router too, or just a NAS?
First thing I would do is go to Airport Utility, and make sure it sees the drive, and that it's ready.
After that it could be a whole host of directions/suggestions - can you see it in finder?
If so, there is hope - and I am thinking you can probably forget wireless for the restore - and make sure it's cabled - that's the first thing to try - very many variables with wireless that might cause trouble.
