Please help, can't download music

Hi guys n girls
I'm new to the apple scene and have just brought the latest iPad
I'm trying to download music from a dj only website I use, this is a legitamate website where you have to pay for the music, I touch the download tab and it says safari cannot down load this file
Does any now how I can get round this and down load my music?

You'll need an app for that. iOS devices can't really download anything unless iTunes or the App Store is involved.

As I mentioned in another thread, you could try icab browser, it support download and upload files from many web sites.

Not necessarily. Safari can download PDFs and add them to iBooks for example.
