Please help, exchange passcode requirement but no exchange!

Big problem here. Earlier today I restored my phone from an old backup which had an exchange account. I then restored it from a backup with no exchange account, but now I keep getting a popup "Password Requirement , the account will not download new data until a new password is set". Anybody know how I can get rid of this? I dont even have an exchange account on my phone. Where does the iphone store mail information, maybe I can delete some file?
