Hi, I have an old iMac G3 that's a little screwed up and a newer Powerbook G4 that I do all my iMovie editing on now. I have a movie saved on my old iMac (that's pretty awesome I must say) that I've been trying to transfer onto my Powerbook (so I can burn it onto DVD) by putting it first on another external firewire drive. The movie has four specific parts which I have singled out at which, when playing, the movie stops, the computer sort of freezes and tries to think, and finally continues playing a few seconds after the part where it has stopped. First of all, is there anyway to fix this? And if there's not, I've been able to transfer the individual clips I first imported and the movie itself to the firewire drive, but the clips which contain the corrupted parts won't transfer. Is there any way to simply transfer the parts of the clips without the corrupted seconds or two? If I could split the original clip I wouldn't mind the loss of a few seconds. Anyways, if anyone has experienced similar problems or has any advice it would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
