Please help...HP Printer connected to AEBS only prints in color...

Ok,

Brand new AEBS dual-band...
Brand new HP Photosmart C4480 from Apple Store (connected via USB to AEBS)...

Prints fine from both MBP (unibody) and Vista lappy...but only in COLOR!

Why on earth would this be...could it be something simple as the black ink cartridge straight out of the box has ink problems? I've re-seated the black just to make sure, but seriously prints nothing in black...only color!

Any advice?

Try connecting the printer to the computer directly via USB and see if the problem persists. If not then it may simply be a driver issue. If so, you might need a new black ink cartridge.

Ok so I connected it directly to my MBP and BOOM, it printed in black...so then I plugged it back into my AEBS and printed the same black text document and it was fine. So I think I'm good now...thanks!
