Please Help. im going to have a psychotic breakdown due to the Music App!

I'm hoping someone can help before I completely lose it. I manually manage my music and every time I try to put a new album on my iPhone i get "Preparing to Update" and it lasts for ever. Then most of my music disappears from the Music App even though it all shows up when I click Music under my IPhone in iTunes. I'm seriously about to go mental. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

I've had this, and the only resolutions I had was

a) Remove ALL music, and resync
b) Reformat iPhone and start again

I know it's a pain, but sometimes the syncs break. Usually option A works best - go into Music tab, uncheck Sync Music, and let all the music be removed off your phone. Then when you resync do it in phases (i.e. not all 64gb of music in one go)

Thanks. My hard drive isn't big enough to hold all my music. It took forever but I got it working. I did throw my MacBook Air across the room and I now know it's well made. I think I'm a 5150.
